The B.L. Nutt B&B Inn is located in Plymouth, Wisconsin. We offer an excellent lodging alternative to accomodations at the local hotel or motel. The B.L. Nutt Inn was built for Benjamin & Sarah Nutt in 1875. There they retired and took in a child, Miss Molly, who they raised as their own. |
The home was one of the most substantial brick residences of that day. Newspaper accounts tell of the home being one of the finest and most tastefully furnished dwellings in the county. Many social events and gatherings occurred at the residence. During the 1950's it was converted to a duplex, however, in 1989 it returned to its former elegance and subsequently opened as a Bed and Breakfast. It was also dedicated as a Sheboygan County landmark in 1989.
| The area offers many local attractions. Within walking distance is an Art Museum, the Chamber of Commerce and Plymouth Historical Society Museum. The Mullet River Mercantile, built in 1848, offers crafts as well as Ella's Deli. Mill Street is dotted with numerous shops, eateries, and antique stores. During the winter months you can enjoy ice skating a few feet away on the Mill Pond or downhill ski on Nutt Hill. |

Minutes away is the Kettle Moraine State Forest with scenic drives, the Parnell Tower, hiking and biking trails, picnic areas and cross country skiing. The Wade House, a restored 1860's Inn, operated by the state of Wisconsin, offers Civil War reenactments and tours. The Wesley Young Carriage Museum is also located on the site. The Plank Road Bike Trail extends from Sheboygan to Fond du lac with groomed trails for biking and hiking. Road America is minutes away as well as the Kohler Design Center.
